May 14, 2004 — Removed Discussion Forum as it wasn't proving
to be useful.
March/April/May 2004 — Sporadic updates of Newsroom,
new NSS Discussion Forum link.
March 9, 2004 — Updated the
Science
page with a number of new educational links.
January/February 2004 — Many minor updates
and periodic updates of articles on the Newsroom
page.
December 22, 2003 — Added a page for the
Federal Cave Resources Protection Act
and updated the Newsroom page with links
to recent articles.
December 11, 2003 — Added a discussion
forum using phpbb to give
visitors an easy way to provide feedback on the site and for beginners
to ask questions. This is not intended to by yet another caving
bulletin board, since there are already enough good discussion forums
and e-mail lists around.
December 9, 2003 — New site went live at
http://cavingintro.net and the old UMUC site was set to redirect
to the new site. Major redesign of site's menu system and addition
of new content, including a caving news page and Virginia and West
Virginia state cave law pages.
October/November 2003 — Updated site to remove
outdated/unnecessary content, fix typos, etc.
November/December 2002 — Original version of site
developed for Multimedia and the Internet class (CSMN639) at the
